This is one of the best aircraft available for X-Plane. And now, with the Garmin 530, there is no reason not to buy, at any price. It is fun to fly, one that I spend nearly half of my time in.
Why so glowing of a report? It comes down to the number of items that are simulated: more than any aircraft I own, including another favorite of mine, JAR's A320. Love the sound of all those switches and those engines spooling up. The modeling is superb, inside and out, even with the low-res version that I fly (due to my own limited system).
The cons: 1) resources, it's a heavy user, and can suck the frame rates if you're not careful, 2) the slowness of the 340A itself: it's no speed demon, but that is not the developer's fault.
A word of advice: if you purchase the 340A, read all the docs you can get your hands on: this is a serious aircraft that you can't take short cuts with. But once mastered, the rewards are many.
